So in the past few years, America's been having the fun time dealing with Donald Trump. His first term was 2017, ending in 2021 and during that time (at least personally) everything got worse.[Important note: This post is mostly sourced from wiki and random video essays.] Regardless, he failed to get reeleceted in the following election, losing to Joe Biden. This led to insurrection and the recounting of the votes. After failing to get into office via violent means, he waited until the next election; this currect one. Today, he has been speaking on very conservitive points and possibly pushing project 2025. (Possibly, since he hasn't offically supported it but its pretty obvious.)
During his inauguration according to wiki, he makes his speech with a very gloomy view on America. He said how he will "make america great again," and wikipedia puts it well saying Trump "[pledged] to end "American carnage" caused by urban crime and saying America's "wealth, strength, and confidence has dissipated" by jobs lost overseas." He literally incited fear of what would happen without him in the very beginning.
